International Women’s Day 2026: Announcing our founder
This International Women’s Day, we wanted to do more than join the conversation.
Inspired by the UN theme Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls and the International Women’s Day call to Give to Gain, we committed to backing one female founder with the strategic brand foundations needed to support her next stage of growth.
We opened applications to founders across the UK and Ireland building purposeful businesses that support women and girls, whether through legal rights, economic access, safety, education, health or representation.
The response was exceptional.
We heard from founders tackling real, structural challenges. From creating access to education and nutrition, to supporting women in the workplace, to reshaping leadership and opportunity at organisational level. The breadth and quality of work made this a genuinely difficult decision.
Our selected founder
We are pleased to announce that we will be working with Mo Kanjilal, founder of Edge Of Difference.
Edge Of Difference partners with organisations, particularly in tech, gaming and professional services, to turn inclusion from a values statement into a performance strategy. Through leadership programmes, future talent development and culture transformation, the business equips senior leaders with the tools, language and data to build stronger, more effective organisations.
In sectors where women remain underrepresented in leadership and progression pathways are often uneven, this work is both timely and necessary.
Mo stood out for the clarity of her mission, the strength of her commercial model and the potential to scale her impact further with the right strategic foundations in place.
What happens next
Over the coming months, we will be working with Mo on:
-
Brand narrative development
-
Customer journey mapping
-
Messaging framework
Together, these will provide a clear, consistent foundation to support growth, strengthen positioning and extend reach.
Thank you
To everyone who applied: thank you.
The standard was incredibly high, and the work being done across this community is both important and inspiring. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to learn more about what you are building.
This was our way of putting Give to Gain into practice.
And it is only the start.
